Time management
As already mentioned at the beginning in the main point "HR & Finance Services (hrfi.univie.ac.at), the processes of time management at the University of Vienna have been modernised and at the same time digitally expanded with new functionalities.
The point "time management" - the foundation of everyday work - includes the most important working time topics of the general administrative university staff (AUP) as well as the scientific university staff (WUP), whereby it should be pointed out in this context that on the one hand the group of persons of the AUP also includes the general administrative project staff and on the other hand the group of persons of the WUP also includes the scientific project staff.
In the sub-headings of time management, the respective framework conditions and the various aspects of working hours, especially of absences in a valid employment relationship, are explained. In addition, the handling of the individual administrative processes in the HR4u system is discussed.
In any case, the relevant legal provisions apply, in particular the Civil Service Act (BDG), the Contractual Employee Act (VBG), the Collective Agreement for Employees of the University of Vienna (KV), works agreements (BV) of the University of Vienna, Act on Salaried Employment (AngG), Act on hours of work (AZG), Leave Entitlement Act (UrlG), Home Office (AVRAG), the Labour Inspection Act (ArbIG), the General Social Insurance Act (ASVG), the Employee Liability Act (DHG), the Civil Servants' Health and Accident Insurance Act (B-KUVG), the Income Tax Act (EStG), etc.
