Abstract:
Branching processes in varying or random environment are a natural generalisation of classical Galton-Watson processes. In this talk we will discuss their survival probability, a Yaglom type result and their genealogy, based on joint work with G ̈otz Kersting and joint work in progress with Emmanuel Schertzer.
