Abstract: Square-free integers and visible lattice points give rise to dynamical systems with intruiging properties, among them their pure point spectrum despite positive topological entropy. A better understanding can be reached by analysing them within Meyer's framework of weak model sets, but this is only a first step. Quantities such as their extended symmetries or their entropy are related to number-theoretic notions, thus making them an interesting model class for the interplay between dynamics and number theory.
