Abstract:

Quotientopes are polytopal realisations of a class of polyhedral fans obtained by coarsening simplicial hyperplane arrangements according to congruences of their lattice of regions. Pilaud and Santos constructively proved the existence of quotientopes for Coxeter arrangements of type A. In this talk, I will give an overview of their approach and discuss a way to adapt it for a large class of quotients in Coxeter type B.

This is work in progress with my thesis advisor Vincent Pilaud.
