Given a U(r)-gauge theory, I will describe how the space of fields on a torus with suitably chosen defects describes homotopy types for Khovanov-Rozansky triply graded link homology for links obtained by closing r-stranded braids. More generally, by twisting along local systems on these homotopy types, I will describe how one obtains all the sl(n)-link homologies as well.
