Graph braid groups, braid groups over graphs, are the fundamental groups of cube complexes, which are special in the sense of Haglund and Wise. In this talk, we investigate the large-scale geometry of graph 2-braid groups using quasi-isometry invariants of the universal covers of special cube complexes of dimension 2. In order for this, we will first talk about the quasi-isometry invariants and then see how these invariants are used to distinguish graph 2-braid groups up to quasi-isometry.
