Quantum Groups of Twisted Affine Type: Folding and Langlands Dual

10.12.2024 13:15 - 14:45

Keyu Wang (U Vienna)

In this talk, we will begin with affine Lie algebras of non-twisted types and then proceed to twisted types. We study the associated quantum groups and their representation theory. While non-twisted quantum affine algebras have been extensively studied through both algebraic and geometric approaches, much less is known about twisted quantum affine algebras. Therefore, we aim to establish a bridge between non-twisted and twisted types.

Two possible connections between non-twisted and twisted types are:
1, Folding: This connects twisted types to simply-laced non-twisted types.
2, Langlands Dual: This connects twisted types to non-simply-laced non-twisted types.

We will explore what is already known, what is currently under development, and what is ideally expected in these connections.
