This twenty minutes presentation could be part of a lecture in either topology of functional analysis. It assumes familiarity with the language used in first-year real analysis and linear algebra classes. I will define norm equivalence and explain its role, show that all norms on a finite-dimensional vector space are equivalent, to then compare this result to the situation for infinite-dimensional vector spaces.
