A Lemma about the Order of Particles in the Multiclass ASEP and Stochastic Six vertex models

Abstract: While working on extending a recent result by Ivan Corwin about the ASEP speed process to the stochastic six vertex model, we needed a certain type of uniform in time estimate about the number of third class particles that pass a second class particle in an environment given by first class particles. For ASEP such a Lemma was already proven by Rezakhanlou. While trying to adapt this to the stochastic six vertex model, we also found a new result for ASEP.

In the talk I will introduce the models and explain both Rezakhanlou's and the new result and compare them. If time permits I will also sketch how we want to apply this Lemma.

This talk covers joint work with Hindy Drillick.
