The scientific advisory board, consisting of external academics, is appointed on the recommendation of the faculty by the rectorate for a term of office comprising four years.

The advisory board supports the faculty to fulfil target agreements with the rectorate and in the process of development planning. Members also advise the faculty on questions of future development of research and teaching.
