Abstract: I will explain how and under which conditions one can study correlation functions (and other interesting quantities) in the subcritical finite-range and infinite range Ising model (and other related models) via Ornstein-Zernike theory. I will then give an example of a situation where the OZ formalism does not apply (but where other techniques can be used). Finally, I will give an example of a situation where the OZ formalism should apply, but we don't know how to apply it yet.
