The "delegation" of our students that took part in the International Mathematics Competition for University Students 2017 (IMC, August 3 to 4, 2017, Blagoewgrad, Bulgaria) was extremely successful: The team of the University of Vienna achieved the 15th rank (out of 71) and won two First Prizes (Levi Haunschmid and Josef Greilhuber), one Third Prize (Jakob Steininger) and one Honourable Mention (Sergey Yurkevich).

There was also an additional event, the AIM Tech Quest, which did not only consist of hard math problems and crypto-challenges but also contained a social component. The team of our university was significantly superior to the other teams.
