Abstract : For two finite bounded ranked posets $P$ and $Q$, a quilt is a map $P \times Q → \mathbb{N}$ satisfying certain properties. Quilts generalize several concepts, notably alternating sign matrices. I will present the definition and basic enumerative results (joint work with S. Billey), as well as new results about the quilt lattice (joint work with H. Höngesberg and M. Rubey).
