Abstract. Denjoy-Carleman classes are algebras of smooth functions satisfying generalised Cauchy estimates. I begin with a discussion of the main properties of theses function spaces. Subsequently I am going to present the definition of the ultradifferentiable wavefront set associated to these classes according to Hörmander.
