Abstract:
The talk will aim to cover the concept of matrix Gabor frames from two different points of view.
The concept of matrix Gabor frames comes up naturally when studying Gabor analysis, and in particular multiwindow super Gabor frames, from a Hilbert C*-module perspective. Indeed, they make up a natural notion of module frames when studying Morita equivalence of Heisenberg modules. We will in the talk first specify how one obtains matrix Gabor frames from Gabor analysis and see how this relates to multiwindow super Gabor frames. Afterwards we will for simple cases reformulate this in terms of Hilbert C*-modules and matrices over these. From this point of view we will see that these Gabor frames actually comes from a form of matrix multiplication.
