Abstract: I shall argue that numbers of bounded alternating sequences are equal to numbers of bounded Dyck paths with negative length. Such phenomena are called "reciprocity laws" in the literature. Building from this reciprocity, we shall set up more complex reciprocity laws between families of non-intersecting bounded Dyck paths and - what I call - alternating tableaux.
