Abstract: We introduce the notion of a cycle between hyperbolic ergodic measures with different types of hyperbolicity. We study how the presence of such cycles impacts the topological structure of the space of invariant measures. We present several examples, including systems exhibiting cycles of measures that deserve to be called robust. This is joint work with K. Gelfert and Ch. Bonatti.
