International Day of Women and Girls in Science
Inviting Girls to Stories and Fun Moments with Our Mathematicians
To celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Faculty of Mathematics invites female high-school students in their final two years to a special on-site event designed to give an authentic insight into doing mathematics at university.
Participants will:
- Take a guided tour of the Faculty of Mathematics
- Hear personal stories from female researchers and staff about their paths in mathematics
- Take part in fun and interactive guessing games
- Experience the faculty in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere
