The faculty of mathematics even managed to collect two Ars Docendi state awards for excellence in teaching of the ministry of science this year: Congratulations to Franz Embacher on the award in the "Digital teaching and learning components in connection with traditional forms of instruction" category and to Hermann Schichl and Roland Steinbauer on the award in the "Methods of teaching and examination in introductory courses" category.
