Abstract: In 2017, Müllner proved the Sarnak conjecture for all automatic sequences and further proved a prime number theorem for these
sequences under some mild additional assumptions. In recent years there has been a lot of progress towards generalizing the results to morphic
sequences, a natural generalization of automatic sequences. In this talk I want to present selected results towards the Sarnak conjecture and
prime number theorems for morphic sequences, in particular for the class of morphic sequences whose Dumont--Thomas numeration satisfies the Pisot
conjecture.
